Mid February

If you love winter and snow, this winter is not for you. It's extremely nice, which allows me to head down the road for a walk most days.

This morning I'm working my way through my google blog and trying to update my settings. So if it is all mixed up, it's all my fault.

I haven't posted a photo here in a long, long time, so here goes.

Oh, my it worked! That's Eli and Arianna, now two and a half and still cute as buttons. Photo is courtesy their mother, our daughter Rachel. She told them to go to their bedroom for a nap, but instead they cuddled on the couch the way Mommy and Daddy do for naps. Oh so cute.

a treat to eat

I didn't think I'd do much for Valentine's Day. We're trying to stay from sweets/chocolate. If we bring flowers into the house, the cats want to attack them. The flowers end up high on the refrigerator or on a shelf in the dining room. They're not too visible there, which takes away the fun of having flowers in the winter.

I decided I would do something for V-Day after all. I bought fresh strawberries. Tomorrow I'll slice some up and we'll dip them in Hershey's Syrup. That's almost a healthy treat.
